CWT, the travel management company, has announced the appointment of a new board of directors of its parent company, CWT Travel Holdings, Inc., following a successful financial restructuring of the company in November. The new board, according to an announcement, brings a strong blend of travel, hospitality, technology and commercial expertise. Jim Abrahamson, who will serve as chair, said the board looks forward to building on CWT’s strong foundation and reputation of outstanding services to its worldwide clients and travelers, as well as its valued supplier partners, by helping CWT’s leadership team accelerate the company’s growth through its industry-leading service and technology platform. Board members include: Jim Abrahamson, formerly CEO of Interstate Hotels & Resorts, and president, the Americas, for IHG;
Alan Bowers (audit and finance committee chair), former CEO of Cape Success, a technology solutions business;
Ellen Keszler (HR and compensation committee chair), CEO since 2008 of Clear Sky Association, a management and strategy consulting firm;
Michelle McKinney Frymire (CEO of CWT);
Tom O’Toole (nominating and ESG committee chair), associate dean at Northwestern University’s School of Management and a senior advisor at McKinsey and Company;
Donna Wells, former CEO of Mindflash Technologies, a B2B software company; and
Theresa Wise, principal consultant and managing partner of Utaza, LLC and formerly senior vice president of Delta Air Lines.
