Cvent, the meetings and corporate travel technology provider, has signed a 10-year agreement with BWH Hotel Group under which the hotel company will use Cvent’s transient sourcing platform to set and promote corporate hotel rates and manage RFPs from the world’s largest corporations for more than 4,700 properties worldwide.  BWH Hotel Group is the parent company of Best Western. The deal follows on Cvent’s August announcement that it had enhanced functionality and streamlined the user experience for Cvent RFP Publisher and other products within the Cvent Transient solutions suite. Reggie Aggarwal, CEO of Cvent, said that a deal of this duration and magnitude reflects the confidence of the two companies in the future of business travel. Dorothy Dowling, CMO for BWH Hotel Group, said the company believes the effective application of technology is essential to its long-term success in the business transient segment.
