French carrier only one to offer flights from Florida city to Orly airport >>
by: BTE
Corsair, a French airline, has launched service between Miami and Paris Orly. Corsair is operating the flight four times per week on a three-class Airbus A330-300. The aircraft is configured with 12 lie-flat business-class seats, plus premium economy and economy seating. The airline, which specializes in long-haul service and has been flying since 1981, is competing in the Miami-Paris market against daily service from American and Air France and four flights per week from discount carrier XL Airways. Corsair is the only airline serving Miami from Paris's secondary airport, Orly, instead of from Charles de Gaulle. The carrier said it would expand the service to five times per week in December and daily next June.
