BridgeStreet has introduced a new technology platform called Six Ways to Stay, which it calls a massive consolidation for the industry that promises “a new era of ease and transparency for corporate travel managers and global mobility.” Millions of rooms – alternative homes, extended stay properties, vacation homes, hostels and more – have been loaded onto the platform. Six Ways to Stay is the next iteration of BridgeStreet’s online travel agency launched last year. The company has undergone a transition from global hospitality group to technology platform, saying it is “unifying global supply and creating a new marketplace for business travel.” Six Ways to Stay promises: 42 million rooms; 22,674 cities in 131 countries; customized analytics for corporate travel managers; 365/24 global support; local operations from San Francisco to Singapore; and customizable booking hubs for business.
