Best Western Hotels & Resorts will launch an extended stay product called SureStay Studio. It is an extension of the operator’s SureStay “premium economy” brand. Launched late in 2016, SureStay Hotel Group has 260 properties globally.  The prototype for a newly built SureStay Studio has 67 rooms in a 32,000 square-foot building.

The brand is also suitable for conversions. The company says it has 10 SureStay Studio projects in its development pipeline. David Kong, CEO, said that the new brand solidifies the company as a global leader in the economy and premium-economy segments. There are already three distinctive brands under the SureStay umbrella – SureStay, SureStay Plus Hotel and SureStay Signature Collection. All SureStay branded properties have achieved and must maintain a TripAdvisor score of 3.5 or higher. Properties must adhere to the SureStay Service Promise and meet Best Western’s brand standards, which include well-appointed guestrooms, high-speed internet access and complimentary breakfast. SureStay also offers an instant-rewards guest loyalty program – SureStay Rewards.
