Azul, the Brazil-based airline, will begin daily service from São Paulo-Viracopos International Airport to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on June 15. The route will be served by A330 widebody aircraft featuring Azul Business, Azul Economy Extra and Azul Economy cabins. The flight will operate out of the international terminal at São Paulo-Viracopos Airport and out of JetBlue’s Terminal T5 at JFK. Flights are designed for maximum connectivity to destinations in the US and to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. With this new nonstop service, Azul's portfolio of service to the US will increase to 30 weekly flights. The carrier already flies from several Brazilian cities to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. Azul Business customers get a full lie-flat seat with direct aisle access, custom dining options and enhanced inflight entertainment. Economy Extra features increased legroom. Every seat on the aircraft provides individual touch-screen inflight entertainment as well as universal and USB charging ports.
