American Airlines has reopened its first class lounge at Heathrow Terminal 3, after a three-year closure due to COVID-19.
The space has undergone “a cosmetic refresh”, and a new kitchen has been installed, allowing the carrier to offer “an extensive buffet offering and a premium á la carte menu”.
Other facilities at the 120-capacity lounge include a champagne station, as well as “top-of-the-range bean to cup coffee machines and an extensive wine and spirits list”.
The lounge is located on the departures level of T3, beyond passport control in lounge area H, and is open daily from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m..
Entry is reserved for American customers flying in first class, as well as Oneworld customers travelling in first class on a same day international flight marketed and operated by American or a Oneworld airline.
For Emerald members of the Oneworld alliance loyalty program (including ConciergeKey, AAdvantage Executive Platinum and Platinum Pro), the lounge is available for those traveling on any same-day flight marketed and operated by American or a Oneworld airline. Image: Courtesy of American Airlines
